2. Eligibility to Use the Services

To use our Services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
• Provide accurate and complete information when booking or registering for our Services.
• Agree to abide by all applicable laws and these Terms.

3. Booking and Dispatching

• Reservations: Bookings can be made via phone, website, or app. While we strive to provide timely service, booking confirmation depends on vehicle availability.
• Dispatch: Taxis are dispatched based on proximity and availability. We cannot guarantee exact pickup or drop-off times due to traffic or other unforeseen circumstances.
• Cancellation Policy: Customers must cancel bookings promptly. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in service restrictions.

4. Pricing and Payment

• Rates: Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and applicable surcharges (e.g., waiting time, additional stops). Fare estimates are available but are subject to change based on final trip details.
• Payment Options: We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and in-app payments. Payments must be made in full upon trip completion.
• Receipts: Digital and printed receipts are available upon request.

5. Customer Responsibilities

6. Driver Conduct

AAA Taxi Services ensures all drivers are:

• Licensed and compliant with Ontario transportation regulations.
• Background-checked, including a clear Vulnerable Sector Check (DBS equivalent in Canada).
• Trained to provide safe, courteous, and professional service.

7. Limitation of Liability

• AAA Taxi Services is not liable for delays, missed appointments, or other inconveniences caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.
• Customers assume all responsibility for personal belongings. AAA Taxi Services will assist with lost-and-found inquiries but cannot guarantee the recovery of items.

8. Lost-and-Found Policy

• Items left in vehicles must be reported to AAA Taxi Services promptly.
• Recovered items will be held for a maximum of 30 days. After this period, unclaimed items may be discarded or donated.
• A retrieval fee may apply for items that require delivery.

9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Cancellations: Customers may cancel bookings at no charge if done prior to dispatch. Late cancellations or cancellations after dispatch may incur a fee.
• Refunds: Refunds are issued at AAA Taxi Services discretion and only in cases of overpayment or duplicate charges.

11. Prohibited Activities

Customers are prohibited from:

• Harassing, threatening, or endangering drivers or other passengers.
• Damaging or vandalizing vehicles.
• Attempting to bypass payment or dispute legitimate charges fraudulently.
